AGB SUMMER BUSINESS INTERNSHIP
#agbinterns
The AGB Summer Business Internship is a 6-week program created to provide high school students and college-aged young adults life skills particularly focused on job readiness and internships. Preparing students to be productive self-sufficient citizens through employment and education is an important goal we have. Students will have the experience of learning the fundamentals of an employee, including but not limited to, opening a checking account to receive paycheck, professional dress-code, phone etiquette, having state issued identification, and accountability of time and job-specific responsibilities.
ALWAYS GIVING BACK DAY
#agbday
In recognition of AGB Investigative Services anniversary in April, the foundation adopts a local school and provide training and resources that augments their educational programming. Along with AGB employees, the foundation organizes a school visit and provide best practices for completing online job applications, engaging in face-to-face interviews, resume writing and phone etiquette. Students participates in an one-day job shadow with our external partners who may potential host them for the summer.
AGB SCHOLARS
#agbscholars
Through a series of scholarships we provide seniors and college-aged undergraduate students with an opportunity to continue their education. Our goal is to grant no less than $40,000 for post-secondary educational expenses annually to students. These scholarships will be divided as follows: (4) $5000 scholarships disbursed over a 4 year term; (1) $10,000 scholarship disbursed over a 4 year term. The scholarships require the student to complete an application and essay that identify a glaring issue affecting our youth and their recommendation to remediate the problem.
FAMILY LOVE
#agblovesfamily
Always Giving Back foundation recognizes that according to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs when basic needs aren’t met, humans can’t begin to operate to their fullest potential. Our goal is to help remove barriers that potentially interfere with the basic needs of high school students and their families. December of each year, we adopt families of high school students by providing food, clothing, and/or school necessities in preparation for the new year.
