Bert Brown

Director of Human Resources

Bert Brown joined the company in 2022, he oversees HR Management and department operations to adhere to organizational policies and procedures. He is responsible for managing HR systems, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing budgets, assessing staffing needs, hiring employees, designing training programs and developing compensation plans.

In his previous role with Allianz, he served as a Human Resources Specialist. He played a pivotal role in the company’s development and enhancement of core human resources functions that enabled the company to achieve continued growth and employee satisfaction.

Before joining Allianz in July of 2014, Brown served as a Benefits / Human Resources Manager for the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He was a core member of a new HR leadership team that streamlined and automated human resources functions that optimized recruitment efforts and employees’ morale. Led the implementation of new human capital management system modules, Intranet site, and Benefits Portal; assisted in developing HR policies and procedures; and served as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters.

While at Allianz he Drove the rollout of new benefit, retirement, and health & wellness programs; contributed in evaluating fiscal impact / quality and negotiating vendor contracts with 1,400+ impacted employees; and streamlined the communication and onboarding of new employees onto programs.
