The AGB Institute is dedicated to the development, education, and enrichment of society. The vision of the Institute is to provide education and life skills that will empower people to be successful and positive contributors to society.
Our mission is to advance a more diverse and skilled workforce through training in physical and cyber security, workplace safety, personal development, and business skills. Our innovative and accelerated courses are built on key essentials that allows individuals to receive recognized industry credentials and certifications.
The AGB Institute is the brainchild of John and Dr. Denitra Griffin, owners of AGB Investigative Services, Inc. The Institute grew out of their passion for education and professional enrichment for their employees and those in neighborhoods with few resources.
The AGB Institute is a private, nonprofit school with a highly skilled faculty. It is designated as a 501(c)(3) educational organization and approved to operate by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Our training facility is located on Chicago’s South Side, at 7545 S. Western Ave. We conduct corporate workplace safety classes on-site at our client’s headquarters. We are not accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
Commitment to Career Development
The AGB Institute prepares people, especially minorities, for successful careers in the security industry and supports their continued development. Ongoing training is a key priority of our parent company, AGB Investigative Services, Inc., and is the reason we developed the Institute.
