AGB Appears on the Inc. 5000 List for the 3rd Year!

AGB Innovative Security Solutions is honored to announce that Inc. magazine revealed today that we are No. 2238 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This is the 3rd year in a row that AGB has made the coveted list. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

When we first received this honor back in 2018, we felt like we were really humming along. Since then we have added to our Blue-Chip client list, opened a new 16,000 sq. ft facility in the Fall of 2019, and will be opening a new Security Operations Center in the Fall of 2020 for our growing Cyber division. This tech center will live in the heart of Chicago’s South Side Marquette Park neighborhood.

AGB Global IT Solutions will be a facilitator in training, providing, and connecting minorities with technology jobs and careers.

We’ve done great work for our clients – securing retail, commercial, utility, and residential spaces. AGB is the largest provider of Community Policing for all of Chicago’s Special Service Areas. We are also the largest providers of security for the Chicago Housing Authority.

“AGB is excited to make the Inc. 5000 list for the 3rd year straight! AGB is an organization that places its people first, including our clients. We are decreasing crime in Chicagoland while employing hundreds. Its humbling to be recognized.” – John Griffin Jr., CEO of AGB

Not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists as well. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”

The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring the companies on the list will be held virtually from October 23 to 27, 2020. As always, speakers will include some of the greatest innovators and business leaders of our generation.

Since we opened our doors in Chicago in 2001, AGB Investigative Services, Inc., has grown to more than 750 employees. Our client roster includes Fortune 500 companies and a wide range of government agencies. We have earned national recognition for our innovative security services. And our work continues to expand beyond the Midwest, to both coasts and overseas. Though AGB’s heart is in Chicago, our reach and capabilities are global.
